Cold-chain handling on arrival

Peptides are sensitive to heat and light over time. The single most important thing you can do on arrival is get temperature-sensitive vials into refrigeration promptly.

Lyophilized compounds are forgiving in transit — the freeze-dried state is stable at ambient temperature for the short windows involved in shipping, but shipping conditions and packaging requirements depend on the compound. Refrigerate on arrival for long-term storage.

Liquid formulations and reconstituted vials are less forgiving and should stay cold. Use suitable temperature-controlled packaging in transit and follow the batch-specific handling instructions on arrival.

Label your vials with the date of reconstitution. It is the simplest way to track your research window and avoid using material past its useful life.
